Overview

Now, with the collaboration between Open University Malaysia and IIHS (Learning Center for Open University of Malaysia), our Nurses will have the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge by furthering their education up to Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Nursing.

This program caters two different market segments. Students after A/L can head start with the Diploma level on full time basis & then move in to the degree level on part time basis while working as a Nurse.

There is also a pathway for the existing nurses holding a recognized 3 year Diploma holders to get in to the degree level.  This part time program has been design with a great flexibility where the Nurses are only required to attend classes only three times per month.  The convocation ceremony will be held in Malaysia.

This is a state-of-the-art open distance learning (ODL) programme utilizing blended pedagogy approach which comprises of face-to-face tutorials, modules, E-learning, skill laboratory and clinical practice. This robust programme will empower you with in-depth knowledge, professional and clinical skills as well as the caring attitudes in your role as an expert nurse and leader in nursing.

Within the degree level students can specialize in three different areas out of 6 specialization units below.

• Critical Care Nursing OR Trauma & Emergency Nursing
• Pediatrics Nursing OR Mental Health Nursing
• Oncology Nursing OR Renal Nursing

Entry Requirements

• 3 Year Diploma in Nursing recognized by the authorities in the respective countries
