PS Healthcare Academy inaugurated in 2022 as a collaboration of I.D.P. Worldwide International (Pvt) Ltd and Sirisanda Samupa Suwasewana Co-Operative Hospital with the intention of producing qualified healthcare professionals to the nation.

I.D.P. Worldwide International (Pvt) Ltd, incorporated in 2019 with the aim of building a place for higher learning for talented men and women in Sri Lanka who would serve community, nation and society. They are dedicated to continue commitment in upgrading standards in educational training and skills development in healthcare sector. They are open for education, research and international cooperation.

The Sirisanda Samupa Suwasewana Co-Operative Hospital opened in 1998 by Aththanagalla Multy Purpose Co-Operative Society. The launch of the hospital and the overwhelming response it received from the people demonstrated a long felt need for superior healthcare in a pleasant environment and they play the major role in offering all the healthcare courses including clinical training.
