PGC Foundation programme provides a thorough grounding in the foundation subjects in business. In general, this exclusive programme is equivalent to GCE A/L Commerce stream. The programme curriculums are designed according to the international standards & are upgraded yearly in order to meet the ever-changing employment demands. The PGC University Foundation is accredited by Tertiary and Vocational Training Authority under the Ministry of Skills Development and Vocational Training of Sri Lanka.

The successful graduates of the programme will be able to apply to more than 30 partner Universities across the globe.

Semester 1

• Introduction to Business Management

Electives (Two subjects out of the below list)

Semester 2

• Accounting 2
• Economics 2
• Personal Development and Leadership
• Information Technology
• Electives (Two subjects out of the below list)
• Advanced Mathematics
• Quantitative Methods for Business
• Developmental Psychology

Duration:

 ONE Year (Delivered in 8 months)

Admission Criteria:

OLevels three simple passes (including language) and three credit passes(including mathematics and English)

OR

PGC Pre Foundation

NOTE: those with less English proficiency will have to follow extra English programme

Delivery:

Students can choose weekday or weekend batches.

Weekdays from  9am to 4pm and Weekend classes are conducted Saturdays and Sundays from 9 to 5

(PGC keeps the right to change the class times and dates for some modules anytime during the programme).
